Salman Khan: Actress and social activist Somy Ali made a shocking revelation recently that took media by storm. The actress reportedly dated Salman in the 1990s, and though their relationship was short-lived they did manage to grab the attention of the public. However, Somy often claims that her relationship with the Dabangg star lasted eight years. Somy recently made a shocking revelation that Salman was about to get married to his ex-girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani before Sangeeta called it off.

This is not the first time that she said something about Salman, in one of her previous interviews, she mentioned that the memories with the actor still haunt her. The former actress often lashes out at the actor, she even called him a ‘woman beater’ and ‘sadistic’.
In 1992, Somy and Salman worked together for a film Buland, that never made it to the theatres. In the 1997 film Chupp, Somy gained some fame for her role. She has now opened an NGO, ‘No More Tears’, and has dedicated her life to social activities, especially for women’s rights in South Asia that works for the upliftment of women in distress like victims of human trafficking and domestic violence.
What happened between Somy and Salman?
At the age of 16 years, Somy convinced her parents to move to Mumbai, as she was starstruck by Salman Khan. Somy further added that she came to Mumbai to try her luck in Bollywood and she had a huge crush on Salman. She even said that she wanted to marry the actor. However, according to her, things got out of hand after Salman used to ‘abuse’ her physically on the pretext of showing ‘love and care.’

Somy Ali said,
Somy also revealed that Salman’s ex-girlfriend Sangeeta had caught Salman cheating on her and broke up with him just before their wedding
Somy disclosed that Sangeeta Bijlani caught them (Salman Khan and Somy Ali) in her apartment near Mount Mary (Bandra, Mumbai). She even mentioned that what she did with Sangeeta Bijlani, the same thing happened with her also. She also stated that she was the ‘inspiration’ behind Salman Khan’s brand ‘Being Human’
