Inzamam-Ul-Haq Harbhajan Singh, the former India off-spinner lashed out after losing his cool at former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq. In a viral video, Inzamam disclosed that Harbhajan was apparently close to converting from Sikhism to Islam. The video where Inzaman can be heard talking about Harbhajan surfaced on social media. During one of India’s tours to Pakistan, the ex-chief-selector of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) claimed this about Harbhajan.

Recently, before Pakistan’s exit from the ICC World Cup 2023, Inzamam resigned from his post of Chief Selector of the Pakistan cricket team. There were allegations raised against him for conflict of interest. Due to allegations of his shareholding in ‘Yazo International Limited’, a company associated with player agent Talha Rehmani, Inzamam-ul-Haq is facing inspection.

Further, Inzamam’s dual roles as Chief Selector and shareholder in a company representing top cricketers have raised questions about whether it might influence the decisions of player selection. This controversy started with disagreements concerning central contracts between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and players.
