Madhuri Dixit: If you are a big Bollywood buff, then you must know already that Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit have never starred opposite each other in any film. Although fans have been dying to see the duo together onscreen, things never worked out in favour of their expectations. But very few know that the filmmaker Tinnu Anand once tried to get them together for a film. The director, Tinnu Anand, is best known for directing iconic films of Big B, like Shahenshaah, Kaalia, Major Saab, and Main Azaad Hoon. He tried to rope in Madhuri to share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Shanakht.

During a conversation with Radio Nasha, Tinnu came forward with the whole sequence and his talks with Madhuri before signing her for the film Madhuri Dixit .
Anand further added that he didn’t want to hide anything and shared with honesty what happened.
Tinnu gave Madhuri full freedom to design her bra for the scene
Since Madhuri was skeptical about the scene while singing, Anand gave her complete freedom to decide the design of her bra for the scene as per her comfort Madhuri Dixit.
Since the particular scene was supposed to be shot first, everyone was ready to roll on the set except Madhuri, who didn’t leave her vanity for 45 minutes. After a few minutes, Tinnu went to check on her and Madhuri informed him that she won’t do the scene.

Soon, Tinnu started looking for Madhuri’s replacement in the film, but sadly just after 5 days from the shoot, the movie was shelved.
